For the blind auditions he chose to sing "Hillbilly Bone" by Blake Shelton. Cee Lo Green turned his chair around and Curtis defaulted to his team.

Battle Rounds

For the battle rounds Cee Lo chose to team him up with fellow contestant Emily Valentine and gave them the song "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum. After the performance Cee Lo chose to save Curtis and Emily was eliminated from the competition.


For the quarterfinals he chose to sing "Addicted to Love" by Robert Palmer. He also performed with Cee Lo and the rest of his team to "Everyday People" by Sly and the Family Stone. Curtis was eliminated from the competition along with The Thompson Sisters.
